The Society for New Communications Research is pleased to announce that the Spring/Summer 2007 issue of the Journal of New Communications Research is now available.
This issue features six papers on a wide range of topics, including:
the effects of social media on the profession of public relations and the impact of the Internet on social capital in America; as well as an examination of the healthcare blogosphere. We are also pleased to feature research papers on the adoption of social media by the Inc. 500 co-authored by SNCR Senior Fellow Nora Ganim Barnes and Eric Mattson and an exploration of the effects of new media on traditional media by Vendor Council member Benjamin Levy. Finally, we are very pleased to feature a report from the Society’s Best Practices Committee that outlines best practices for the development of corporate blogging policies and features case studies on EDS, IBM, Intuit and Novell.
The JNCR is distributed as a print publication, with an accompanying wiki to allow for collaboration and updates. In addition, is available via PDF.
Many thanks to our JNCR sponsors: Thornley Fallis, TNS Media Intelligence/Cymfony, MDV and Business Wire for making this publication possible.
